Like most great things, the story of J.E.A began in the spirit realm as a VISION, and the seed of the mission was planted on Monday December 1st 1997. Today, we celebrate God’s faithfulness in bringing to reality, the ministry He has given to his chosen vessel, Rev. David Esosa Ize-Iyamu.
Jesus Evangelical Assembly is positively affecting and transforming the lives of many, especially in the city of Lagos where the ministry is presently located. It all started in 1997 through a vision given to Rev. Esosa revealing a major revival across the globe with a special emphasis on the continent of Africa. This work was divinely instructed to begin from Lagos in Nigeria. Over the years, the authenticity of the Divine origin of the Mission has been confirmed beyond reasonable doubt. The manifestation of the awesome presence, Grace and Power of God at the various meetings is an evidence of God’s mandate and approval of the Mission.
With the principal focus of calling men unto sincere repentance, prayer and soul winning, Jesus Evangelical Assembly has successfully touched and influenced the lives of many people resulting in remarkable testimonies of salvation, repentance, changed lifestyles and rapid spiritual maturity. Both members of the church and even a larger number of non members that have encountered the power and favor of God through the various outreaches, programmes and ministrations of the Mission are today living testimonies of God’s power to change and uplift men in every area of life.
The grace and calling of God upon this mission as a “House of Prayer” for all people has miraculously transformed previous persisting needs and challenges in the lives of many into victorious testimonies. No wonder, just after the first two years of this mission, it was unanimously named the “HOUSE OF ANSWERED PRAYERS” by the numerous worshipers from other denominations.
